MARGO BALL

Margo has been in the winners circle since she was 9 years old. She has a college degree, teaching experience in public school and community college, and many years instructing horsemanship.

Margo has won 6 World Championship Titles and has shown and trained many horses to Superior Event Titles in Halter, Western Pleasure, Western Riding and Reining as well as several AQHA Championships. She has also taken numerous horses to Top Ten placings at AQHA World Shows and the Quarter Horse Congress including a Reserve Champion title.

Margo is an AQHA National Director for the State of Colorado. A long time member of the AQHA Professional Horseman's Association, she also serves on the Professional Horseman's committee and was recently elected by her peers to serve on the Professional Horseman's Council.

Margo is one of the first women to have judged the five main World Championship shows. She has judged a total of 14 World Championship Shows, as well as the Arabian Nationals and The Canadian Nationals. She holds six judging cards and has judged over 600 shows.

As an author, Margo has been published in numerous books, over 20 magazines, and has produced two training videos/DVDs on showmanship and grooming (as can be reviewed on the "Videos" page).

TOM BALL

Tom has been showing, training, judging, and winning for over 40 years. He has a Masters Degree with training in Education, Agriculture, Nutrition, Artificial Insemination, and Breeding.  Tom started and instructed one of the first college horsemanship programs in the country.

Tom is the Breeding Manager, Full Time Trainer and Barn Manager at Ball's Quarter Horses. He has experience with most every discipline and has the versatility to train for them all.

Tom keeps the horses in training ready to go out and show with nutrition, grooming, and a consistent exercise program.

WAYNE BALL

Wayne brings skills in business management, accounting, and technology, having a Masters in Education and PhD work in Management and Public Relations. 

Wayne is an educational specialist for a regional office of the US Office of Education. 

Wayne shows horses in the Amateur and Open competitions, having won two World Championships and numerous Superior and AQHA titles. 

Wayne also brings skills in Farrier Science.

OUR STAFF
NUNO
Nuno is a top sanitation engineer. He keeps Ball's Quarter Horses clean with a great attitude and friendly greetings to the customers. Nuno also provides entertainment with his famous rope tricks!
David Quade
BOB
David brings 30 years of farrier experience to Ball's Quarter Horses.  His quiet demeanor and precise skills make him an outstanding farrier.
Bob is the round pen manager for Ball's Quarter Horses. He keeps the horses exercised, in line and gets them "Bob" broke! He helps get sawdust, hay, grain and run errands. He also meets and greets everyone that comes to visit Ball's Quarter Horses.
TIMMY & CALLIE
PRO

Timmy, and Callie are the pest control technicians. They keep the mice at bay and Tom on a diet by eating half of his doughnuts in the morning!
Pro is the real working man. He goes many miles to get Ball's Quarter Horses down the road and into the show pen. Meet him at the upcoming shows!
